Home Snowmaking Kit #1 builds a fully functional garden hose snowmaker. This snowmaker works with a small air compressor and garden hose to make snow. A garden hose type snowgun works best in marginal snowmaking conditions and for teaching the basics of how a snowmaker works. Garden hose snowmakers do not produce a lot of snow. Expect to make about 1" of snow per hour over approx a 15' x 15' area. Assembly required, a vise and pipe wrench are useful tools to have.
