The Avalanche Snowmaker is designed for pressure washers that flow between 1.9 GPM and 2.4 GPM. A universal pressure washer hose quick
connect fitting is installed on the snowmaker water connection to make installing your pressure washer hose a breeze. Unlike other snowmakers,
there are no adjustments that are required thanks to our automatic nucleation valve that handles all of the adjustments for you. Upgrading to a
different pressure washer later on? No problem! Simply buy a new set of nozzles that work with your new pressure washer, there is no need to buy a
new snowmaker!
Features and Benefits of Our High Pressure Snowmakers
Automatic Nucleation Valve (no adjustments required)
Unlike other home snowguns, our high pressure snowmakers require NO ADJUSTMENTS. Simply hook up your air compressor and pressure washer
and let our automatic nucleation valve handle all of the adjustments for you. The automatic nucleation valve eliminates operator error and ensures
your snowmaker always makes snow and the highest quality snow possible.
Interchangeable Nozzles
All of our high pressure snowmakers are the same. The only difference is the nozzles we put on them to accommodate different flow rate pressure
washers. Simply order the model snowmaker that corresponds with your pressure washer or snowmaking pump flow rate (gpm). If you buy a different
pressure washer later on, simply order a new set of nozzles (if required) that works with your new flow rate pressure washer. Other manufacturers
would require you to buy an entirely new snowmaker which can set you back several hundreds of dollars.
Precision Machined Snowmaker Body (1 piece construction)
The snowmaker body is manufactured out of high quality aluminum. The one piece aluminum construction prevents freeze-ups from occurring which
is typical on other snowmaker bodies that are made up of several pieces. Each snowmaker body is precision machined and is tested according to our
strict quality control standards. The rest of the snowmaker components are then installed by hand.
Internal Nucleation
There is a good reason most of the snowguns you see at ski resorts are internal mix, they are very efficient and have less issues compared to
external mix designs. The robust internal nucleation system on our high pressure snowmakers excels in marginal snowmaking conditions, prevents
nucleation nozzle freeze-ups, and is less susceptible to issues in windy conditions.
Built-In Water Filter and Stainless Steel Snowmaking Nozzles
Each high pressure snowmaker comes with a built-in bronze water filter directly behind the water connection. The filter prevents unwanted debris and
water mineral build-up from affecting your snowmaking nozzles and automatic nucleation valve. Stainless steel snowmaking nozzles are standard on
all of our snowmakers and will outlast brass nozzles that will wear quickly with regular use.
Self Heating Design
The unique inner workings of our snowmaker body distributes the water in such a way that it prevents freeze-ups from occurring.
Angled Tripod Stand
Our tripod stand is angled to increase the hang time of the mist exiting the nozzles. The more time the mist has to freeze, the better your snow quality
will be. The angled rear legs can be adjusted to accommodate different slopes and to slightly change the pitch of the snowmaker.
Avalanche Snowmaker Requirements For Operation
Weather: 28ºF or less (snowmaker may work above 28ºF if humidity is low enough)
Air Compressor: Any air compressor that produces at least 5cfm@90psi or more (will work with our 4.1cfm@100psi twin tank compressor, however)
Pressure Washer: Any pressure washer that has a flow rate of between 1.9 GPM and 2.4 GPM

Check Valve- HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
By installing a check valve on the snowguns air connection, you will prevent any chance of water backing down your
airline to compressor in the event your air compressor shuts off because it tripped the breaker or ran out of gas.
The chances of having back flow occur are VERY RARE, but the check valve provides a great peace of mind and is well
worth the small investment to protect your air compressor just in case.
*Check valves are not required on the water connection for this type of snowmaker since a check valve is built-in on
pressure washers to prevent damage to the pump. Therefore no compressed air can back flow to damage your pressure
washer or house pipes in the event your pressure washer turns off.
Install a check valve on the AIR CONNECTION: $30

connection, you will preserve the life of your pressure washer pump. This filter is great for your pressure washer even
when it is not being used for snowmaking. The filter keeps debris from entering your pressure washer pump that can
possibly cause damage. This filter will also filter the water before it goes through the built-in filter on the snowmaker.
Well worth installing on your pressure washer if you have hard water or a high sediment content in your water. Filter
easily removes for cleaning in a matter of seconds without the need for tools! Just twist it open and twist it closed when
your done! Filter has 3/8" male threads on one end and a 3/4" garden hose swivel on the other. FITS MOST
PRESSURE WASHERS without the need for adapters.
